column known as “Trail Mix.” “Trail Mix”
is a selection of photos submitted by
riders from all over the world.
Now, most of the “Trail Mix” photos we
pick are riders in action, but since this is
a buyer’s guide and the focus is on bikes,
giving our two-wheeled companions top
billing seems appropriate.
Every weekend, my friends and I go for what
we call the early special. Most people think we
are up for a breakfast place, but in reality we
are heading for the mountains in the Marin
County area. We all have seen more sunrises
with each other than with our wives.
THE TRAIL LESS TRAVELED
