Best paint job we’ve seen: Intense launched their new M16
downhill race platform with a bang. The new bike features an
all-aluminum frame that gets 8. 5 inches of travel built around 27.5-
inch wheels. Intense will be offering the new bike in a limited run
with this sick Shaun Palmer paint job that requires over 30 hours
of labor to complete. The stars and stripes treatment will add
about $2000 to the cost of the bike.
Peaty’s whip: Fox had Steve Peat’s Santa Cruz V10 carbon race
bike on display. This bike looks fast even when at a standstill.
The Sea Otter Classic has become the event to kick off the cycling season in the United States. Professional and amateur racers from all over the
country gather in Monterey, California, to test their winter
training and enjoy a weekend among fellow riders. Sea
Otter has also become a place for companies to showcase
new and exciting products. But aside from ogling all the big
releases, we wanted to see what else was out there and
discovered some cool bikes and components that will be
coming to a shop near you soon.
