Fresh look: Gamut brought a huge selection of redesigned
chainguides, chainrings, stems and new pedals. These pedals are
still being tested and not quite ready for production, but they had
a thin body and an integrated bearing.
Real racing: Aside from all the cool new products, many riders
were spotted enjoying the mini pump track!
Rider tuned: We spotted a Push Industries prototype shock on a
Niner WFO. Push is known for their ability to rebuild suspension,
but is now entering the production market. We were told this
shock will come custom-tuned for each rider.
New and shiny: One of the biggest products at the show was the
new XT M8000 from Shimano. The M8000 is a completely redesigned, 11-speed drivetrain that features some similar technology
as the XTR M9000.
The brakes you love: Not to be outdone by the drivetrain,
Shimano redesigned the XT brake, A.K.A. the M8000. The brake
assembly is slimmer than the previous generation. o
Keeping it fun: Not only did Fox Suspension bring some awesome new products, but they brought a sense of humor as well.
There was no shortage of laughs and good times at the Fox tent.
