Many new bikes are using trunnion mounts,
which connect directly to the shaft side of
the shock. Measuring these shocks is the
same as with a more traditional design.
Use the measuring tape to find the distance
between each of the eyelets on the shock. This
distance between the threaded eyelet on top and
the unthreaded mount on the bottom is the eye-to-eye length. This shock measures 185 millimeters.
