You can’t let the trail scare you. Sure, the trail may be
difficult or dangerous, and you need to take precautions
for sure, but once you start doubting whether you can do
something, questioning sections for too long, then you
might just want to come back to it when your mind and
confidence are in a better place.
You always have to focus on the positive and visualize
yourself riding smooth or taking a section like you want or
know you can. Don’t dwell on what you are doing wrong;
remind yourself of what you are doing right.
I just try to go through the track or course in my head,
visualizing hitting all my lines and reminding myself that
the race is no different from practice. Hopefully, you have
done your homework in practice and got everything dialed
that you need to do for your race. Then it is time to just put
it all together like you have already been practicing. Believe
